Does this bug still exist on Hardy or Intrepid? If not, it will be closed as Edgy is no longer supported.

Just testing with 8.10 as of today, this bug seems still valid. Re-opening.

Writing a recurring event into the web interface to the Exchange server testing with, Evolution only shows one instance of this recurring event, namely the first one. I would consider this to be a severe bug.

I'm also seeing this problem. The March event has been added to the Palm as recurring on the 5th for 3 months but Evolution only shows the first event, not the recurrences in April and May. I can provide further details if needed.

I should have added that J-Pilot correctly displays the recurrences so I know the PDB record is correct.

Wanted to share a work around in an Exchange 2003 environ.

It's a few extra steps I don't mind, but if you right click on the non-showing re-occuring item, then right click on "Schedule a Meeting", you'll get a list of users, add yourself (I know, you'll be in there twice)

This will make it show. (In all my cases)
-Or-
An e-mail will generate asking you to accept which, in turn will make it show.

In my application I:
Make an appointment in EE (Re-occuring or otherwise)
Once I see it in EE Calendar, I right click it and choose "Schedule a meeting"
I enter my e-mail address.
I save changes and send the update.
I go to my handheld and accept the meeting.

More steps, but works great!

Good luck!

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Could you try with Karmic or Jaunty? Thanks in advance.

I'm seeing this same behavior in the following environment. In the Day and Work Week views, the recurring events randomly display. In the Week or Month views, they seem to be more consistently displayed. I'll be happy to provide application dumps and/or debugging info.

Lucid Lynx
Evolution 2.28.3
Evolution-mapi 0.28.3-0ubuntu1
Exchange Server 2007

Correction: all calendar views have various missing recurring appointments. What debugging information can we provide to get some traction on this bug? This seriously impacts the adoption of Evolution as a full-featured calendaring application in our environment.
