Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution-exchange

After upgrading to Ubuntu 10.10, several problems occur with evolution-exchange. Following the recommendation suggested in this bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution-exchange/+bug/631395 , I installed a proposed version of the package which solves most of the problems. However, when trying to book a resource when organizing a new meeting, I received the following error message "Cannot send calendar objects" and the booking does not work.

1) ubuntu release
Description: Ubuntu 10.10
Release: 10.10

2) version of package
 evolution-exchange:
  Installé : 2.30.3-0ubuntu2
  Candidat : 2.30.3-0ubuntu2

3) what you expected to happen
when trying to book a resource when organizing a new meeting, the invitation is correctly send and the resource (room) is booked

4) What happened instead
received an error message "Cannot send calendar objects" and the resource is not booked

It is going worse: now evolution freezes when I try to have a look to my calendar. I hope a solution can be found for this bug. Thank you by advance

Well, after reinstalling evolution, I can see my calendar again. However, I still get the error message "Cannot send calendar objects" when trying to book a resource. I enclose a trace of the error.

I removed the log file (CAMEL_DEBUG=all evolution >& evo.log) since no there was no error message in it

Problem continues with latest updates to Natty. Waiting until 11.10 is not an option.

On second thought.... Goint to UbuntuUpdates, I can see that the latest Evolution, 3.0.3, is now available for update (with Gnome3) for Natty http://www.ubuntuupdates.org/ppa/gnome_3?dist=natty
