Bug Description
With the new versions of the evolution and evolution-exchange packages to 2.4.1 (-0ubuntu4 and -0ubuntu1 respectively),
essentially all elements of the exchange features are working here except the global address list (GAL). I had a similar
problem with older versions under the Debian distribution, and the problems were corrected by changes to the openldap package.
I wonder if this is the problem here. Bascically, I get no response at all from the GAL where it is supposed to return the
e-mail address after the first three letters of the address, or portion thereof, is typed in. Also, I should be able to
manully look-up the e-mail address when clicking the to: or cc: buttons when creating a new e-mail. This is a very powerful
feature worth having, but not worth giving up Ubuntu if I can't have it.
Please close this bug. Either the latest upgrade this afternoon (which included an evolution upgrade), or a reset of the GAL server name, caused this
problem to go away. I can now do everything I am supposed to be able to do with evolution and evolution-exchange at version 2.4.1 !
Yeh !!
