evolution exchange not working

Bug Description

I was trying to setup Evolution to work with Exchange but during account setup,
in the dialog where you configure the server, I type in my domain user account
(including domain) which is different of the email address (domain account is
DOMAIN\username and email address is <email address hidden>).

To continue it's necessary to authenticate, and in the dialog that requests the
password, the first time around it displays the DOMAIN\username and requests a
password. I type in the password and click on the OK button but nothing happens.
I suppose that somehow authentication fails because it isn't possible to
continue. Maybe a dialog with a message stating why the user cannot continue
(including why it failed to authenticate) is in order.

Next time I try to authenticate (maybe I mistyped the password I type in every
day ;-)), the password dialog displays my email address instead of
DOMAIN\username, and subsequent tries all display the same so I never get the
chance to fully setup an Exchange account.

If Evolution support for Exchange is somewhat broken, please remove the package.

I think this is fixed in 2.4.1-0ubuntu2, when you've downloaded that version,
can you please test this?

I just tried with evolution-2.4.0-0ubuntu3 with no success. I'm attaching a
screenshot of the account setup dialog.

The problem now is that no matter what I do, there's no field to insert a
password, no textfield to indicate what is the server address and the "Forward"
button never gets enabled.

I feel there must be something wrong with the configurations on disk. What
should I do to remove any "garbage" related with Exchange configuration, if it's
possible at all?

Right, but 2.4.0-0ubuntu3 is an older version than the 2.4.1-0ubuntu2 that I
said it was fixed in. =)

Your screenshot tells me that this is the bug that's fixed, though. I'll wait
for a reply and then close this.

Tks,

Oh, sorry about that. I'm in the process of a dist-upgrade and will get back to
you when it's finished.
