For me it is not low important - No polish people cant use novell server with evolution because of this bug.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Could you try to reproduce the same with Ubuntu 8.10 or 9.04? Thanks in advance.

This bug shouldn't be closed.
It is still present in Ubuntu 8.10.

It is very easy to to duplicate if you have groupwise serwer.

1) Set up groupwise server in evolution.
2) Set up ubuntu locale to polish
3) Send e-mail with polish characters "ŁÓŃĆŹŻŚĄĘłóńćźżśąę" for example to gmail e-email adress.
4) Characters will not be readable on destination address.

If I sent the same e-mail by SMTP server everything is OK.
