Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, you are not using the most recent version of this package for your Ubuntu release. Please upgrade to the most recent version and let us know if you are still having this issue.

After updating to the newest version I have not seen this occur. I also set my exchange account to store a local cache. I don't know if the new version or if the caching stopped this crash from happening.

I just saw this with:

Package: evolution-exchange
Architecture: amd64
Version: 2.11.5-0ubuntu1

Unfortunately I do not know how to add new apport stacktraces to this bug. When it happens again (I have had it three times today) should I create a new bug for the new apport traces, or just attach them here. If the latter... how?

@Paul: please open a new bug -- if this is indeed the same bug, we will link both of them. Thanks.

Had this happen on the latest gutsy code, with a fresh install. It happened the first time I downloaded the message list from the exchange server. The retracing service declared it a duplicate of this one.

I think this is gone in the latest gutsy code, evolution and evolution-exchange 2.11.91-0ubuntu1. Is anyone still seeing this in that version or newer?

Got it in Hardy just now as well.

There have been some evolution crash fixes in hardy. Is anyone still seeing this? If so, please let us know your evolution and evolution-exchange versions.

No reports on this in quite a while, so I'm marking it as "Fix Released". If anyone is still seeing this under Intrepid or current Hardy, please let us know.
