Bug Description

I use Ubuntu 14.04, evolution-data-server is version 3.10.4-0ubuntu1. In the online account settings I added my Google account and selected the option to synchronise the callendar with the evolution-data-server.

Expected behavior:
When I click on the time in the top panel, I should be able to see my next events from my Google callendar.

What happens:
Very often there are no eventy shown. Only after restarting the system I can see the upcoming events again.

This is due to this bug:

Basically, google changed the way http requests are handled. There is a patch available for 3.10, which should work for ubuntu 14.04, here:

Debian has already patched this bug (in Jessie, version 3.12). Here is their bug report:

Changed in evolution-data-server (Ubuntu):

I just realized that this bug was reported *before* google changed the http handling, so the bug reporter might have been experiencing a different problem. Nevertheless, the problem exists now.
