Bug Description

Binary package hint: evince

This is either a problem with evince or cups

I was recently printing off lots of PDF files using Evince. All of them printed off OK except one - which the printer refused to print on numerous occasions, coming back with error messages each time. All the files contain Chinese characters - both those that would print and the one file that wouldn't.

I have attached the troubleshoot.txt that the printing tool produced as well as the culprit PDF file.

I submitted the same bug. I tried to print your file and had no problems, although there are many other files which raise me errors when I try to print them.

According to the error message in troubleshoot.txt, it seems related to cups. There is oen error message -

Please check /var/log/cups/access_log /var/log/cups/error_log logs for more information.
