Bug Description

Binary package hint: evince

I'm designing pdf slides with pdflatex+beamer, so for better navigation I view the document in presentation mode.

In the normal viewing mode, every time I modify the pdf file, evince automatically reloads it (that's neat).

In presentation mode, evince does not automatically reload the document, moreover typing Ctrl+R (Reload command) does not make evince reload the document. I have to go back to normal mode (Esc), then the document is automatically reloaded, and go back to presentation mode (F5).

I'm on Lucid Lynx, evince 2.30.1. To reproduce this bug:
1. create a latex file (possibly using beamer, not necessary)
2. compile it to pdf
3. open the pdf file with evince
4. switch evince to presentation mode (press F5)
5. modify the latex file
6. compile again to pdf
7. In evince, reload the document (Ctrl+R)

Expected result : evince displays the latest version of the pdf file
Actual result : evince displays the initial version of the pdf file

Importance : 3/5.
Disabling automatic reload in presentation mode could be considered as a feature.
However, Ctrl+R must work, it looks like this feature has been forgotten.

  * Remove debian/patches/02_fix_dot_dir_creation.patch,
    debian/patches/03_fix_opening_hash_filename.patch:
    - in current release

Test case:
- install the new version from proposed
- check that you can still open pdf, navigate in your document, make selections.

In addition, for this particular bug, check with the new version thatq:
1. create a latex file (possibly using beamer, not necessary)
2. compile it to pdf
3. open the pdf file with evince
4. switch evince to presentation mode (press F5)
5. modify the latex file
6. compile again to pdf
7. evince should reload the document automatically as well with Ctrl+R
Expected result : evince displays the latest version of the pdf file
