Bug Description

Binary package hint: evince

When I print the KQED program guide from March, 2010, the printing process hangs. I did some troubleshooting and found out that pages 1-7 print just fine, but page 8 causes foomatic-rip to use 100% CPU. From what I can tell, the job never gets to the printer, because the "data" light doesn't start blinking. I'm using Ubuntu 9.10 with an HP LaserJet 4050N.

Sorry, I don't have Lucid installed. I use Ubuntu for work, so I'd rather not risk upgrading to a beta release. Maybe someone else that's already running Lucid can try printing page 8 of the PDF that's attached to this bug?

no worries, let's leave it as new in case that someone else is able to reproduce/confirm the issue, thanks Boris.

Thanks for the report, it has been some time without any response or feedback in this bug report and we are wondering if this is still an issue for you with the latest release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal, May you please test with that version and comment back if you're still having or not the issue? Please have a look at http://www.ubuntu.com/download to know how to install that version. Thanks in advance.
