Bug Description

Binary package hint: evince

Evince seems to print PDF using non-installed (and non included) fonts, but in fact, it's printing nothing. The printer even reacts and seems to warm up, but then... nothing. Just like if it was receiving an empty document. And on the computer, it reports the print as fine.

The only way to print PDF is to actually print the PDF document in a PDF file, and then print this new file. The newly created PDF file has new included fonts to replace the missing ones. So it's printing without any problem.

What should happen:

-Evince should at least warn the user that it cannot print the document without having the fonts. It should NOT send an empty document to the printer and let the user think everything is all right.
OR
-Evince should warn the user ("the fonts used in this document are not installed on this computer nor included in the document, so they are replaced by a default font which may look different", something like that) and replace the missing fonts with default ones, and then print.
