Binary package hint: evince
Trying to open the attached PDF file, evince immediately crashes with a segfault. Tested on two computers with Ubuntu 9.10, one with 32 bits version, the other with 64 bits version. Acroread opens the file normally.

I can confirm this on Ubuntu 9.10 32 bit.
Uname: Linux 2.6.31-15-generic i686
Interestingly, Nautilus will render the thumbnail of the first page without a problem.
Opening the file by running Evince from the terminal does indeed give:
:~/Downloads$ evince Amtrak_W02.pdf
Segmentation fault
I was able to open the file successfully in OpenOffice.org 3.1.1 using it's PDF Import Extension (version 1.0, available at http:// extensions. services. openoffice. org/project/ pdfimport )
