doesn't keep the choosen paper size in page setup

Kubuntu 9.04 up-to-date

- I open a PDF file with evince
- I choose a paper size in page setup and click "Apply"
- I print my document : the result is bad (croped)
- If I re-open the page setup, the paper size is the default size (A4) again. The paper size I choosen is not set.
The setting doesn't apply. I must print on a custom size paper and I can't because evince set A4 itself ...

there is several printing bugs similar to this one already open that's probably a duplicate

The issue is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug the to the people writting the software (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME)

trying on karmic I don't get this issue but I've no printer configured and print to files so the behaviour could be different

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. A new version of Evince is available in both Lucid and Maverick and we are wondering if this is still reproducible in any of those versions, May you please test and give us of feedback about it? Thanks in advance.
