Dual display should start first page on RHS

Bug Description

Dual display is useful for documents (like books) that are printed double-sided, and that have distinct layouts for verso (LHS) and recto (RHS) pages. Typographical convention requires that RHS pages of a book be odd-numbered. For dual display to make sense in that case, the first page of the document should start on the RHS half of the display. Evince does not presently do this, as far as I can tell, but it would be a useful addition. (Should I add that Acrobat Reader does this automatically?)

Thanks for your bug. Have you tried the "dual" mode? Does it do what you expect? If not could you make a screenshot of the issue or attach an example?

Well, I was talking about the "dual" mode...

Evince displays successive pairs of pages that are not *facing* pages, while that is what you want when displaying a book. Open any book, and you'll see what I mean: the left-hand page carries an even number, the right-hand page an odd number. Since the first page of a book carries the number i (roman) or 1 (latin), odd in either case, this page should be displayed by itself in the right half of the dual display (the other half being empty); successive pairs of *facing* pages will then be displayed right: verso on the left, recto on the right. This is also the way Acrobat Reader does it...

I tried emailing a few screen shots (Acrobat Reader vs. Evince), but email was refused for exceeding size limit (easy to do with a few graphics attachments).
Let me know where I can mail them if you still want them.
