Bug Description

Binary package hint: evince

I am using emacs for editing a TeX-file. I use evince to view the resulting dvi-file. Whenever I run LaTeX on the TeX-file from emacs, evince takes the focus and gets "on top" of emacs, so I can't see what I'm writing. I the taskbar, emacs is still marked as the active programme. This annoying problem started after I upgraded from Ubuntu 8.04 to 8.10. If you solve this problem, I would like to be informed (mgr at imf au dk)

Another workaround is to "open a copy" and close the original.
