evince 2.20.1-0ubuntu

When printing document like a book (first print even pages, turn them over and print odd pages in reverse order), when printing odd pages in reverse order, the first page is blank. Then it prints the last page, but it is in wrong order. For example, I had 8-page document (1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8). First I got 2-4-6-8. Turn them over and began printing in reverse order. The page #7 wasn't print on the same sheet as #8, but on #6. Then #5 was printed with #4, #3 with #2, and, then, #1 was printed on the new sheet.

It is even more general: when printing pages in reverse order, the first
page is always blank, in cases of even and odd pages. I didn't try with
"all pages"

I can confirm this bug! Printing in reverse order always prints a blank page at the start. No matter if you have an even or odd number of pages.

Try acroread (version 8) and see if you get the same behavior:

If this works, then at least you have a work around.

I have a duplexer on my printer so I've never used reverse printing with evince.

Thanks for your bug submission. Tomorrow, Ubuntu will have fewer bugs because of your efforts.

I can't reproduce it in Intrepid Ibex.
