PDF documents are not printed

Binary package hint: evince

I can open PDF document. When I try to print printer is not responding.
When I try to reach the print preview I get the error message "impossible to open the document type MIME not maneged "text/plain"

Thank you for your bug. Could you attach an example? Does the filename has some spaces? It could be an issue similar to bug #175281

No there are no space in the document name.
One of those is a document I get regularly from Swisscom (a phone
provider).
The Problem seem to be quite new!
I was using regularly the print function.
On Monday 7th January I noticed the problem the first time, but I can't
say exactly when I could print correctly the last time (should be around
20th of December).

I started having this problem too, regardless of whether the filename had spaces. Following links from similar bugs I found:

which mentions the same error message when Page Setup: Only Print Even Sheets is selected. Sure enough, unselecting that fixed the problem for me. Evince was remembering my last used settings, and I had even pages only as well as just print page 1, and apparently these contradictory directives together cause a very obscure error message and behavior which should be better diagnosed...!
