Ubuntu 17.10 => nothing sent to cups

Bug Description
Hi,
Since I upgraded to Ubuntu 17.10, when I try to print something from evince, nothing is sent to Cups (I see nothing in the printer's queue with system-
The only thing I see in the logs are many lines like :
[ 1549.847075] audit: type=1400 audit(151012935
Any idea what could be the problem/how to solve it? Or at least any hint how I can debug the printing chain?

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. You reported this bug some time ago and there have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time.
Ubuntu 17.10 (artful) reached end-of-life on July 19, 2018.
Your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running only once in a terminal:
apport-collect 1730922
and then change the status of the bug back to "New".
Please add any additional information that you think might be relevant. Alternatively, please confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the bug report. If we do not hear from you this bug report will expire in approximately 60 days time.
