Bug Description
Back in the days of Gnome 2 the evince toolbar used to be fully user-customizable, but now there is no longer even an option to hide the toolbar. I find this especially annoying when I want to view documents in full-screen mode on a small laptop display.
There are quite a few questions regarding this on AskUbuntu:

There is also a 4-year-old feature request for a keyboard shortcut to disable the toolbar here, although at the time the request was made it seems there was still a menu option that did this:

I'm using evince 3.16.1 on Ubuntu 15.10.
