whitespace missing after print pdf

Printing the attached PDF results in an output with missing whitespace between words. See attached resulting PDF when printing to file.

Copying the text from the original document: "Martin ritt durch Schnee und eisigen Wind."
In the output the whitespace is missing between the words and the text becomes "MartinrittdurchSchneeundeisigenWind."
