Ubuntu 13.10
evince 3.10.0-0ubuntu2
libcairo2 1.12.16-0ubuntu2

Steps to reproduce:
Attempt to view this pdf in evince: http://www.mouser.com/ds/2/427/rwmilita-239699.pdf

Results:
evince shows the document first page for a second or two and then crashes.

Console Output:

Hans L, thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, I am closing it because the bug has been fixed in the latest development version of Ubuntu - Vivid Vervet.

This is a significant bug in Ubuntu. If you need a fix for the bug in previous versions of Ubuntu, please perform as much as possible of the SRU Procedure [1] to bring the need to a developer's attention.

As far as I am concerned this bug is not fixed in 15.04. When I open a document from the terminal I get this:

In some cases the desktop freezes and I have to kill the process from the console.
