Bug Description
To reproduce in 12.04. Open a PDF to run Evince. Go to an arbitrary page with some content displayed. Select a zoom level so that something is displayed.
Hit CTRL+N. A new window shows but has blank display. The workaround for now is to adjust zoom. Then PDF page is displayed. Should not need to do this, because last window displayed the content.
