Bug Description

libgxps claims to be the library to allow Evince to view XPS documents. I have an XPS document and it simply complains that it's a ZIP file.

Not sure if this should be logged against libgxps or Evince.

There are newer Evince in the repositories, apparently, but it's always difficult to know what might break what, so I haven't tested them.

I'm going to mark this as a duplicate of bug 375038. The fix is in quantal-proposed at the moment and that bug will be closed once it's moved to the quantal release pocket after alpha 2.

Tried and ended up with dependency madness just as expected.

Any chance the same package could make it to precise-proposed?

Yeah, you can't just install the quantal version. We might be able to upload something to backports though.
