evince freezes without crashing or using CPU while going through pdf

I would like to be able to read through it.
4) Tried several times to access pages 6 to 8 and during that evince froze reliably. It did not generate any CPU activity but clicking anywhere in the evince window did not cause any reaction (only minimizing, resizing using the window decoration still worked). Had to go into Activities overview (using gnome-shell) to be able to stop force quit evince.

Same here, also on 12.04 / x86_64. There are several documents that freeze for me. It has gotten a lot worse the last few days, now it happens a few times per day =/

Any known work rounds?

Same here as well, and again on 12.04.03 LTS /X86_64. The offending documents so far have been those with equations.

Prunus dulcis, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If so, could you please attach an example document (not post a URL) that demonstrates this problem?

I can confirm the bug is still present in Evince 3.14.1 (under Xubuntu x86_64 14.10, kernel 3.16.0-28, XFCE 4.10) with the attached document.
