Bug Description
The default Eucalyptus installation uses an insecure EC2 API
endpoint. It would be better if the endpoint used HTTPS by default.
The lack of a secure endpoint cause problems for users trying to
register their clouds with Landscape, for example. There's a
workaround described here:
