Hi
On upgrade I got:
* Starting Eucalyptus cluster controller eucalyptus-cc Problem running //usr/lib/
invoke-rc.d: initscript eucalyptus-cc, action "start" failed.
dpkg: error processing eucalyptus-cc (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

It seems like there are two bugs here: upgrade breaking the config or not upgrading the config and hence the euca_conf complaint, and JAVA_HOME not being set correctly somewhere.
