etherape does not work after installation

Hello and thanks for reporting this issue.

Could you be a bit more specific concerning how it doesn't work: what do you expect to happen and what actually happens?
Have you tried running it as root/using sudo? For some reason there seems to be some problems with the menu items tied to etherape, see bug 700268 for more info.

etherape showed up under the internet tab (as root) and it works so I took
the link out of sytem tools
