erlang package for jinterface?

Binary package hint: erlang

There does not seem to be package making jinterface.jar avaiable for Erlang.

The source for jinterface are included in the Erlang distribution in the ./lib/jinterface/ directory.

Please offer a package for jinterface.

I have the same problem, would like jinterface as standard in the erlang package.

For what it's worth I attempted to build erlang from the otp_src_R12B-4 release, but had problems with ncurses, m4 and then hipe started complaining

hipe/hipe_mkliterals.c:394: error: ‘X86_LEAF_WORDS’ undeclared here (not in a function)
hipe/hipe_mkliterals.c:395: error: ‘X86_NR_ARG_REGS’ undeclared here (not in a function)

This is where I am currently stuck.

I'm running a relatively new build of lucid (1 week old)

I was not proposing to include it in main Erlang, but as an additional package.

jinterface is available in Maven at:
