Bug Description

Binary package hint: erlang

I uninstalled erlang when uninstalling one of its dependencies a while ago. On reinstalling ubuntu-desktop this morning (to ensure pulseaudio's dependents were working), erlang also reinstalled. On logout, I briefly saw a tty-1 login before the normal login screen. On login: Ubuntu One sync thing tried to sync again (haven't changed anything recently, but ookay), and the bug-report splat appeared in the notification area. Without an actual resume occurring anywhere on the timeline.

THIS BUG MAY CAUSE BUG REPORTS IN THE "LINUX" PACKAGE THAT ARE UNREPRODUCIBLE.

ProblemType: KernelOops
Annotation: This occured during a previous suspend and prevented it from resuming properly. The resume processing hung very near the end and will have appeared to have completed normally.

I figured out it wasn't the kernel's fault but erlang's fault that this was happening because of the message during installation (via aptitude in a terminal) that noted that now that erlang was installed, it would go look for those processes that depended on it or something of the sort. I attached the fake kernel oops report anyway because more information ought to be a good thing.
