Bug Description

Did a basic install of eric from the command line using apt-get. The default language for the rest of the system is English, but when I open up the freshly installed Eric4 IDE, it is all in spanish/portugese, not english.

Can't reproduce that.

With LANG not set, or LANG=en_US.UTF-8, I get English.

I have to use LANG=es to get Spanish.

Would you like a screen shot of what I'm seeing?

Like I said, its a default install of Ubuntu 12.04 desktop -
U.S./American English selected at every opportunity. I checked the
language support in the settings dialog (for Unity) and the only other
language pack it showed installed was Chinese - since removed.

Well, I've had to (re) install Linux on this laptop several times over
the last week (had problems with restoring from backups). Every time,
I've tried installing Eric from the repos... and once out of I think
five tries it came up in English (like it should, given my
locale/environment). The rest of the time it comes up looking like this:

If there is something I need to explicitly set some where to get this to
work right, please enlighten me.
