Epiphany crashes at start

Epiphany crashes at start with these error messages to stdout:

mikael@devcon-x:~ $ epiphany

** (epiphany:15669): CRITICAL **: void mozilla_push_prefs(): assertion
`NS_SUCCEEDED (rv)' failed

** (epiphany:15669): WARNING **: failed to read user preferences, error: 80004005
end from FAM server connection
end from FAM server connection

The last to lines (FAM) come a couple of seconds after the crash dialog appears.

It might be related to OAF, as I once got an error message about the oaf server
couldn't initialize, I can't seem to reproduce this message though.

I am running Ubuntu 5.04 with:

mikael@devcon-x:~ $ epiphany --version
Gnome epiphany-browser 1.5.8

Please let me know if there is more information that I need to supply.

 epiphany-extensions (1.5.8-0ubuntu2) hoary; urgency=low
 .
   * Patch from the CVS to fix a crash on startup (Hoary: #7047).
