Hebrew bookmarks are not displayed

I'm using Epiphany with an English locale, and I have bookmarks with both English and Hebrew titles. While the ones with the English titles are displayed properly in the bookmarks menu, the ones with the Hebrew titles appear as empty menu items (except for the favicon, for websites that have one). When using a Hebrew locale I get the opposite problem: Hebrew bookmarks are displayed, and English ones aren't.
This is a regression from previous versions, in which the bookmarks behaved properly.

I've tried epiphany in Debian Etch. The problem doesn't exist there.
It does, however, exists in Ubuntu Feisty and Gutsy.
The same problem as described above:
In English local Hebrew page titles are broken, In Hebrew local the English titles are broken.

This bug also exists in gnome bugzilla as bug #413263, but since it doesn't exist in Debian, I think one of the two has happened:
1. Something in newer gnome/pango version broke the correct display.
2. Ubuntu packages are not compiled right.

Can someone check this against other distros ?
