crashes during simulation

I wanted to run one of the demo models (star.egp) from the demo library, when I got the following error message:

Checking syntax of model script... NOW

Script star passed syntax check NOW.

I've running epigrass 2.0a1 on ubuntu 13.04 32 bit.

Any idea?
