Bug Description

Basic information:

Description: Ubuntu 11.10
Release: 11.10

eog:
  Installed: 3.2.1-0ubuntu1
  Candidate: 3.2.1-0ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 3.2.1-0ubuntu1 0
        500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ oneiric-updates/main i386 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
     3.2.0-0ubuntu1 0
        500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ oneiric/main i386 Packages

Bug:

I often use Eye of Gnome to look through images of my digital camera which often have undescriptive file names like 'IMG_1234.JPG'. It would be very time-saving if I could just easily rename them in eog. A link named "Rename" should be added to the "Edit" menu and the context menu when right-clicking the image.
