Bug Description

Eye of GNOME 2.30.0 can display CR2 (raw cannon images) images and when you double click on them, but when you press the next button on it, instead of showing you the next image it jumps to the next non-CR2 image.

I reported this bug upstream -- it still exists in the current development version.

The invalid status only concerns the upstream bug, where the developer reasons that it is not a bug in eog. You can follow the discussion here: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=625356

The Ubuntu bug open is still "confirmed" because I disagree and still think it is a valid bug.
