Bug Description

Binary package hint: eog

Eye of Gnome displays animated .gif files correctly when windowed, but the image becomes corrupted when viewed in fullscreen and expanded to fit screen (see attached video).

This does not happen with every animated gif but the vast majority I've tried it with have had problems. I haven't been able to identify a common factor linking the ones that do display properly.

Gwenview displays the same images without any distortion in fullscreen mode.

The file 'gif distortion' is a theora video, I forgot to give it an extension.

Yes, that could be helpful. This is a different gif from the one in the video, but it is affected by this issue on my computer.
