Bug Description
After updating to Ubuntu 23.10 (not a problem on 23.04), now this sequence of steps crashes all open EOG instances:
1. Open image 1
2. Open image 2
3. Close image 2
4. Open image 2
5. Crash (closes ALL eog windows)
Does not appear to be related to the image data itself (100% repro with other file types, etc so far).
Description: Ubuntu 23.10
Installed: 45.0-1ubuntu1
Possibly related to this line in console output (full log attached, run with EOG_DEBUG=1)

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
You could do
$ ubuntu-bug YOURFILE.crash
Then tell us the ID of the newly-created bug.
If it fails then look at https:/ /errors. ubuntu. com/user/ ID where ID is the content of file /var/lib/ whoopsie/ whoopsie- id on the machine. Do you find any links to recent problems on that page? If so then please send the links to us.
Please take care to avoid attaching .crash files to bugs as we are unable to process them as file attachments. It would also be a security risk for yourself.
