Bug Description
Binary package hint: eog
if open eog from the command line within an images directory and open an image from there, doesn't show anything in the main window, but show the image preview in the window manager top bar and from the properties window of the image.
steps to reproduce:
1.- open a xterm
2.- go to a directory which contains images
3.- open eog without parameter from the command line
4.- go to File -> Open and select the first image, you'll notice that doesn't show the image, but in the top bar on the left of the window manager show a small preview of the image.
5.- go to File -> Properties and you'll be able to see the image preview and info.
this happens to me under gutsy installed from tribe 4, with all updates to the date.
eog 2.19.5-0ubuntu1

I can not reproduce this bug anymore with 2.19.5-0ubuntu1 AMD64. But I remember having problems with something like this (the image wasn't showing in the main window).
