2014-01-31 14:47:12 Sebastien Bacher description When viewing an image in eog (the GNOME image viewer), if I open the Print dialog through the "Image > Print" menu, eog will hang, and be grayed out, when the dialog is closed (by clicking Cancel, by clicking Preview, by pressing Esc, etc.). This bug also occurs in the Live DVD, at least when using Virtualbox. I'm using Saucy. Curiously, when the Print dialog is opened using the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl + P", the bug doesn't occur, and eog continues to work fine after closing the dialog. This bug is very similar to this one: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/eog/+bug/746486 (marked as fixed 2 years ago) ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 13.10 Package: eog 3.8.2-1ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.11.0-14.21-generic 3.11.7 Uname: Linux 3.11.0-14-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.12.5-0ubuntu2.1 Architecture: amd64 Date: Thu Dec 19 18:12:21 2013 EcryptfsInUse: Yes InstallationDate: Installed on 2013-11-01 (48 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 13.10 "Saucy Salamander" - Release amd64 (20131016.1) MarkForUpload: True SourcePackage: eog UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) Impact: When viewing an image in eog (the GNOME image viewer), if I open the Print dialog through the "Image > Print" menu, eog will hang, and be grayed out Test Case: Under Unity, open eog, use appmenu to open the print dialog, close it, eog shouldn't hang Regression potential: check that eog keeps working, including plugins options
