eog freezes after several pictures have been rotated

Bug Description
Binary package hint: eog
Open a folder with several (lets say 10) pictures. After the first picture has shown up, press Ctrl-R to rotate the picture, then Ctrl-S to save it. Go to the next Picture and repeat the Ctrl-R, Ctrl-S. My eog freezes mostly after the second rotation, sometimes it gets to the third rotation, but not further until now. Tested with jpeg-files.
