Bug Description

I've got a mysterious account in my empathy account list. It seems to be a mixture of to of my accounts (credentials of my sip account and it is marked as a google talk account). If I delete the account it disappears but after a reboot it is there again.

In addition: If I end Empathy and try to restart it again it seems to have problems to get access to the account settings, I get the following error message:

"Fehler beim Aufruf der Kontenverwaltung

Es ist ein Fehler beim Verbinden zur Telepathy-Kontenverwaltung aufgetreten. Fehlermeldung war:

Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken."

Yes the bug is reproducible for me?

As described above I don't know how this this specific account has been created. But I can delete the account but after a reboot it reappears.

You need to add a GNOME Online Account + an empathy account for the same account (MSN or Google Talk). Then try to delete one from the empathy account manager.

I'm seeing the same thing. For me, it's an old Jabber account that doesn't work any more. I can delete it in empathy, but after I restart empathy, it's back again. I also tried deleting the account using mc-tool, but got the same result.
