Favourited IRC chats should go in contact list.

IRC chats that I favourite in Empathy should be added to the contact list so that I don't have to go muddling through the top bar menus to find them. This would also help me manage them because it'll give me somewhere to do context operations on them without having to use the manage-favourites dialog.

like you want to say that the favourite channel connect with autoconnect, like in xchat gnome..we have a option to save the channel or auto-join on start up option.. this you wana say.explain it in simple and to the point words??

thanks for the bug report i have discussed it with the developer and he said it would be nice so from here you can upstream the bug marking it triaged and setting the imp,,add the upstream link with this bug.thanks again,

Ubuntu receives a rather large of volume of bug reports and it helps to have the bugs be very detailed and complete when they are first reported. This makes it easier for everyone to help move the bug along in the bug life cycle. Personally, I'm not familiar with empathy and reading the description of this bug I've no idea how to favorite a channel. A higher quality bug report would have specific details in the description so that anybody could recreate the bug. When I say specific details I mean something along the following lines:

1) Go to the edit menu
2) Choose accounts
3) Click the plus button to add a new account
4) ...

 While this can take longer as a reporter it facilitates moving the bug along. So does adding information about the package version of empathy that you were using.
