Bug Description

Yesterday after running update and upgrade, empathy was uninstalled, i think dependency issues, i just installed empathy from terminal today after running update again. but after a few browsing with empathy, apport pop-up and send me to this bug report.

* If so, what specific steps should we take to recreate this bug?

ahh i guess i have also seen this crash today but i dont know how to recreat it..confirming for now because it has dup and i guess enough info in stacktrace

To me, this bug just occured, after I logged out from a session - and then logged in to a new session. I didn't start empathy in the actual session, but the crash reporter showed up, so I guess the crash occured because of the old session. Maybe empathy wasn't able to close completely before?
