did you mean Favorite channels disappear after you leave the channel oor groups?

I mean when I want to put certain contacts into certain groups it
doesn't work, the contacts remain ungrouped when I restart Empathy.

is this problem with the facebook account or also with the gamil or yahoo accounts.?

Gmail and Yahoo accounts are also affected, yes.
