Empathy cannot communicate using MSN with Mac MSN clients

When trying to contact MSN contacts who are using the Windows MSN client for Mac (version 8.0.1) no messages ever go through. This is repeatable with anyone I work with who have a mac. if I ask them to send me a message I get it but when I reply they get nothing back. This issue started happening in the last 2 weeks. I get no errors when I run empathy from cli and try send a message.

Thank you for taking time in filing the bug to make ubuntu better.
are you using the proxy servers?
if no than attach butterfly (msn) logfile with the bug?

I have tested comms to 3 different mac users, 2 of them use adium and the other messenger for mac. they now all can chat back to me.

As far as I'm concerned this is fixed.
