Empathy does not send/receive MSN messages

Empathy was working perfectly till a few days ago. Now I can login to MSN, but messages are not sent or received. [Ubuntu 10.10]

All my msn contacts get displayed but I cannot receive any message. And it doesn't show errors.

Ow yes i notice that when i logged on ebuddy.com empathy didn't sign me out! maybe this can help?

I can confirm this. Well, I can't confirm that it worked before, 'cause I normally don't use Empathy, but I can confirm that it doesn't work now.

thanks for the bug report. if you are still facing the issue with upto-date ubuntu-10.10 please go to Help>Debug in empathy. a window will come up there in the drop down menu click on buttefly and click 'clear' button, then come to empathy accounts, disable and re-enable msn account and try to send messages to your contact and if they dont receive it click on the save button in the debug window and attach the logs file here. this will help us solve the problem for you.
