Bug Description

Binary package hint: empathy

If a Video call is attempted to someone using the Windows Live Messenger client at the receiving end, the receiver can see and hear me but I cannot see or hear them. There is a video window opened - see screen shot MSN.png attached.

If the Windows Live Messenger user initiates the Video call, then the call is not connected when answered in Empathy. It just shows Connecting... - see screen shot MSN2.png

Same here, Ubuntu 10.10 x86_32, Kernel 2.6.35-28 (fully updated system).

Already tried the Telpathy PPA (http://ppa.launchpad.net/telepathy/ppa/ubuntu maverick), wich solved the "Personal Picture" bug, but not this one.

I am marking this as a duplicate of #657453 because we should keep it all in one place
