As far as i can remember, in lucid this feature worked, so i'm tagging this as regression-potential

1-Open a chat window with some text in the chat window content (either written by you or the other contact)
2-Select text with mouse
3-Press ctrl+c

it simply doesn't work

Right-click copy works for me but not ctrl+c

the issue doesn't seem like a regression since the duplicate bug 580602 is in ubuntu-10.04 and also there are certain steps to reproduce this issue.

I'm not sure if it's really a duplicate of bug 580602: that one is about the text entry widget, this one is about the text widget
