The characters are too large in the conversations of empathy

After adding the guiodic repository and have made progress partial distribution I have found empathy with that from the first conversation the characters had great conversations. Please forgive me for bad English.

please disable that ppa from software source and do the following in terminal and restart empathy.

& sudo apt-get install adium-theme-ubuntu/lucid and check if that solves the problem

a few things. it seems that you are not using the default width of the chat window the width is reduced. so the text looks weird. the ppa you are using contains adium-theme-ubuntu 0.2 which fixes the bug in theme for small fonts.

I don't want to unistall the repository because I'm confortable with it, even with the beta version of the programs, they work perfectly. I thought it was a bug so I reported it. If it depends from a ppa sowtare, as you mention me, I'll report it to the repository owner.

Thanks for the bug report. But the version of adium theme you are using does not come by default in Lucid, so I am closing this bug as invalid. but feel free to report any other bugs you may find!
