Empathy Google password field too short

I try to connect empathy to my Google account. In the "Edit Connetion Parameters..." dialog box I can enter a password of length up to 13 characters. My Google password is 30 characters long (http://xkcd.com/936/), however, so this is not a limit enforced by Google.

For my Facebook account I can also enter a longer password, and I did not test any other account types, but my guess is that there may be similar problems.
